Summary

We are seeking for a strong, hardworking QA Engineer to help build and deliver high-quality applications. This role would suit someone who is passionate about quality and is comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative and dynamic work environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI (both web and mobile) to back-end distributed web service. You will own the quality of major deliverables end-to-end, working closely with IT and Product teams.

         KEY responsibilities

-     Test variety of platforms in an Agile development environment: websites, mobile apps and backend services

-     Work closely with development team, product owners, designers and project managers

-     Provide test effort estimation

-     Manage test environment and test data

-     Review technical and business requirements and design robust & reusable test scenarios

-     Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

-     Execute manual and automated tests

-     Track and prioritize bugs

-     Analyze test results and produce progress reports

-     Effectively track and communicate test progress to QA Manager and project team

-     Participate in product readiness and release decisions

-     Support UAT and Production testing

         PROFILE & EXPERIENCE

-     2+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience

-     Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline)

-     Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies & practices

-     Knowledge of Agile, Iterative development process and methodologies

-     Experience with test management tools – Azure DevOps or similar

-     Experience with issue management tools - Jira or similar

-     Strong knowledge of SQL – DML queries in SQL Server, My SQL or any database systems

-     Experience with API testing – Postman or similar

-     Experience or knowledge of mobile testing – Android and iOS apps

-     Knowledge of one scripting language

-     Experience with test automation or keen to develop skills – Selenium, NUnit or similar

         Nice to have

Any knowledge or experience with the following is a plus:

-     ISTQB Foundation desirable but not essential

-     Experience with Source Control Systems – Git or similar

-     Knowledge of Build tools – Maven or similar

-     Knowledge of CI/CD/CT tools – Jenkins, Bamboo or similar
