ITSM Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to Global PMO, the Infrastructure Project manager key responsibilities are:

  • Coordination and securitization of the execution of several projects with broadly delegated authority
  • Management of planning and coordination of projects’ contributors (teams are not dedicated to projects and their other activities has to be considered)
  • Production of proper reporting and documentation on the projects
  • Bringing project methodology to delivery teams
  • Stakeholder management and alignment, conflict management and escalation
  • Scoping of each phase of the project to ensure mobilization and onboarding of all (especially for the preparation of rollouts)
  • Ensure the alignment between business team, delivery teams (and potential external support), and secure proper project rolloutLeading committees with all stakeholders all along the project
  • Act as the point of contact between technical teams, provider teams and regional/local IT
  • Prepare and work with delivery team and local IT for rollout, change management and communication
  • Assist on securing the RUN operating model (processes, roles/responsibilities, tools, etc.) between all parties

REQUIRED SKILLS & PROFILE

Experience

  • at least 2-3 years of Project Manager experience with gradually demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, artifacts, and tools
  • Experience in managing project with global rollout and CIO communication
  • Firsthand experience in managing a global ITSM project in a similar international company. Experience in CMDB implementation would be a plus. 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding in the areas of ITSM (ITIL standards, CMDB, Incident/request/problem/change management, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Jira ITSM tool would be a plus.
  • Ability to independently manage the operational aspects of a project and serves as liaison between project team and business units 
  • Ability to manage several rollouts of different size in parallel
  • Capacity to quickly identify and drive to the optimal solution when presented with a series of constraints
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels 
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work.
  • Strong synthesis and reporting skills – capacity to report to CIO level
  • Listening ability, put yourself in the business's shoes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; technical teams, application/business owners, management, and subject matter experts 
  • Strong skills in documentation
  • Fluent spoken and written English
