AWS Cloud Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaboration with the AWS team and AWS Architect on the cloud adoption framework and migration strategy, as well as the overall direction and compliance of the AWS design.
- Organize knowledge sharing sessions to educate teams/bus in tool using.
- Identifies and resolves issues with applications, following agreed procedures.
- Design, create, test and document scripts.
- Participation in the development of group-wide standards and best practices.
- Deploy and keep up to date infrastructure in AWS
- Troubleshoot tickets and issues related to the AWS infrastructure
- Alignment new projects with the target architecture.
- Guarantee the application of architectures good practices of information systems: Documentation, Continuity, Security, Interoperability with market standards.
- Refactoring monolithic applications to Microservices and Component based architecture.
REQUIRED SKILLS & PROFILE
- 2+ years experience with AWS Infrastructure Engineer design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and various AWS IaaS and PaaS services.
- Strong hands-on experience utilizing AWS services, and integration with on-premises.
- Prior hands-on experience with moving workload from on-premises to Private/Public Cloud
- Demonstrated experience on web application architecture.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Experience with infrastructure as Code.
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Strong skills in documentation and ability to articulate issues and tasks for non-IT staff
- Self-starter, self-driven in a remote environment
- Ability to dynamically prioritize tasks
- Experience in working in a global environment (cross function, cross region teams)
- Fluent spoken and written English
Desirable Skills:
- Good understanding of AWS Cloud Adoption Framework and Well architected framework.
- Application lifecycle management tools (Git, TFS, Azure DevOps, …)
- Demonstrated experience on microservices, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform
- Problem Solving Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructures
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or higher and/or TOGAF certification.
- Basic understanding of French.
- Experience in working in a global environment (cross function, cross region teams)
- Ability to dynamically prioritize tasks.
- Self-starter, self-driven in a remote environment.
